Butterfly
Chair: Available in mild steel and elm or oak, the butterfly theme in this chair is represented in the shaping of the ironwork at the top of the tall back, referring to the patterning found on butterfly wings, echoed by the single-winged shape of the seat. Whilst the structure of the Butterfly Chair is kept simple, the spiral foot is not only designed to stop 'stiletto' effect damage to delicate floor surfaces, but also makes it ideal for use on garden lawns. A fun chair, originally designed as 'thrones' for the bride and groom at their wedding. |

| Thalassa
Chair: The Thalassa chair and accompanying table are named from the Greek word for water or sea; the chair was designed with wavy twists in the metalwork which are reminiscent of the movement of water, a theme which carries through the wooden seat, which has a curved wave design running down its middle. The ironwork has a beautiful hammered finish, which gives it a rich texture. Although the seat is bare and minimal, it is surprisingly comfortable, as the backrests are curved to give lumbar support, and have spring in them when they are leaned against. The Thalassa chair can be made for either indoor or outdoor use, in a choice of suitable woods and finishes. |

| Oculus
Table: This table was originally designed and built for a special commission. The main design element is the central glass ‘eye’ or ‘Oculus’, which rests on a wrought iron motif [designed in consultation with the client], surrounded by a very attractively grained oak circular table top, waxed and buffed to give a patina which complements the glass. The legs are inspired by 1950s Italian metalwork. This design is available in rectangular or square shapes as well; the important element is always the central ironwork design showing through the glass, which could even be made up of a family crest, a company logo or a special motif, reflecting the individual client’s taste. |
